Already Won

Do you realize that the battle has already been won and that Satan knows he can’t win so he is just playing games to try and get you to walk away from your faith and Jesus entirely. Satan wants nothing more than to make you believe that you are unloved and unwanted by God. All Satan has is games. If he can make you stumble, cast doubt, and plant seeds of deception then he thinks that he is winning, but he won’t win. God already did that when he sent Jesus to take the form of man and take all of our sins and transgressions to the cross. With his last breath Jesus said, “It is done.” In that very moment Satan knew he had lost. The only thing he can do is take you so far from Jesus that you lose what is waiting for you in Heaven. If he can make you believe that Jesus doesn’t love you then you walk away from the promise that God has given you.

Do you know that in John 15:15 it says, “I no longer call you servant because a servant knows nothing of his Master’s business. I call you friend for everything that I know from my Father I have made known to you.” The very person who came down from heaven and took human form to later die for us called us friend? How cool is it to be able to be so close with Jesus that he calls you his friend. To be in that kind of relationship with him you have to know what your identity is. The only way to know all of your identity is to have a friendship with him. Which means praying -All praying is, is having a conversation with God, Reading your bible-reading your bible makes you have an even deeper relationship with him and his word-this is how you confirm exactly who you are and what he tells you that you are, it will always help you learn when Satan is deceiving you. Satan can tell you lies all day but the more you read the word the more that you deeply know the truth. Satan can’t attack your identity if your identity is in Christ. Ephesian 2:10 says You are God’s handiwork created to do good works. God created you to be exactly who he wanted you to be. No one else gets to decide who you are or your worth than the one who so intricately wove you to be exactly who you are. Why should you even ask anyone else who you are then the one who made you?

In 1^st John 4:4 it says, Dear Children, you have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Meaning, Satan is the one in the world and he has already been beaten. God already won the whole war. Satan DOES NOT WIN! Who lives in you…JESUS, therefore we can confidently say we have overcome Satan. That is biblical for those who believe in Christ Jesus. My prayer for all of you is to learn to understand who you are in Jesus, how loved you truly are-even when you stumble and fall, and all the good things He wants for you.
