There is no checklist or prerequisites to being loved by God. You don’t have to do this or that to be loved. Once you start living life for Christ then all you have to do is be in a relationship with him. He wants to be your best friend. Who you turn to when things are good. The one you lean upon when you are too weak yourself. The one you can tell the secrets of your heart to. He just wants a friendship-relationship with you. You are loved beyond measure. You can’t even begin to fathom the amount of love that your heavenly father has for you. It is completely unimaginable the amount of love he has for his children. What kind of parent has a checklist? Not a good one. Not one that will love you completely and unconditionally through all the things of life. God is so good, kind, and loving it would be and is completely out of character for him to make you jump through hoops and check things off a list for you to be loved by him. He made you who you are and already knows where you struggle and all the things you hate about yourself he loves. He is a good and faithful father who just wants to love you and be there for you. THAT IS ALL. Just to love on his children and be a part of their lives.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
