Miracles

Just because our stories that are happening now, aren’t in the bible doesn’t mean the God isn’t preforming miracles in the here and now. I was a drunk, addict, who was completely broken by a three year abusive relationship, I am now healed, whole, and clean all by the grace of God. How is that not a miracle. Does it compare to when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego where in the fire and Jesus was there with them and kept them from getting burnt…YES! Is it any less of a miracle then when Moses held up his hand and parted the red sea to save the Israelites from the Egyptians…NO! Just because they aren’t written in the bible does not mean that they aren’t still miracles. I mean look, I could have lived a very different life, but God stepped in and saved me from the life I was living and saved my soul and now I am here writing about it. If we really choose to open our eyes and look around miracles are happening in so many places.

Look back through your life and see the places God stepped in or showed up big time and how they changed the whole path of your life. Miracles might not even look huge. They can be the small things like bringing your child home safely, when really we don’t know if Satan had other plans that night, but God was like nope. Sometimes I think we get caught up in oh that’s not in the bible so it doesn’t matter as much when in actuality it is just as big. The bible happened many many years ago so the “New” stuff isn’t in there.
