Plan

What are you planning for? Life here on earth or your eternal life in Heaven? I know that we all need jobs and making money here on earth but are you most worried about riches here on earth? A million dollar home and an expensive car? Or do you have a home and a car that is reliable and cozy? If I said I didn’t worry about the things here on earth I would be a liar but I try to plan for my future in Heaven. In Matthew 6:19-21 says’ “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in a steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be.” So where are you planning out your future, because I want mine to be in heaven. I like being on earth but I am tired of trials and sadness. I want to dance with Jesus and worship him and be where things are not hard. I want to be where my body doesn’t ache and I don’t have to worry about food or lights or who is president. I can just worship and eat and be joyful. What life do you want to be planning for, putting the most thought into, making sure there are treasures waiting for you?

I am hoping for you this week to place all your worries and cares on the Lord and let him carry you and fill you.
